ISLAND-85 is a dance studio project produced by “Dexter Connection” which is an author/composer/producer duo made up of Angelo Firrincieli & Philippe Claes. The vocals featured in the ISLAND-85 project are from Miss T, Tcheelab and Athenai… The sound of ISLAND-85 can be defined as shaking Electro + French Touch + Groovy melodies, all together.

Dexter Connection had their first hit in Europe in 2002:
Their first hit was “To Be With You” (Universal Music Mercury). This track had an immediate success in clubs and on radio at the same time. “To Be with You” was number 1 in airplay in Belgium and a smashing hit all over Europe with the highest positions in club charts (France , Germany, Greece, Italy, Belgium…).

In 2008, ISLAND-85 is born …a new electro project for Dexter Connection! Angelo & Philippe with the help of Athenai, composed a first great track called “BREATH”. Island-85 was signed by X-Static Records in June of 2008, for exclusive U.S. releases.
